Terms of Service
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and DiddiaSix LLC ("we", "us") covering your use of Teach Aloud at teachaloud.com ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. What the service does
Teach Aloud builds a class from material you upload — a slide deck, documents, links or a recording — and teaches it with an AI instructor called PAuL. A class can be taught by telephone, where PAuL rings a number and talks through the slides, or in a web browser, spoken or in writing. People taking the class can interrupt and ask questions, which PAuL answers from the material and its own knowledge of the subject.
The service is new and still growing. Features, limits and prices may change, and we will tell you about material changes by email or on the site.
2. Your account
You need an account with a working email address. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13, and if you are under 18 you may only use the service with a parent's or guardian's permission.
3. Plans, allowances and payment
The free plan is free. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan includes a number of classes you may build and, for the telephone, a number of calls a month; use past those allowances is charged at the rates shown on the pricing page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current month runs to its end.
Purchases are processed by Stripe, with Link as the merchant of record, which is responsible for payment, applicable sales tax and VAT, and invoicing. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; a change takes effect at your next renewal after that notice.
Deleting a class does not return a class to your allowance: the allowance counts classes built, not classes kept.
4. Your material
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us the right to store it, process it and use it to build and teach your classes, answer questions about it, and make the recordings and transcripts you ask for — and for nothing else. We do not use your material to train AI models. You confirm you have the right to upload it and to have it taught.
5. Telephone calls and recording — your responsibility
When you choose the telephone, PAuL places a real call to the number given, and people you invite may give their own number to be called on. Only have the service call numbers whose owners have agreed to be called.
If you switch recording on for a class, calls of that class are recorded, and PAuL tells everyone on the line so before teaching begins. Recording laws vary. Many US states and countries require the consent of everyone being recorded. You are solely responsible for telling participants, getting any consent the law or your employer requires, and keeping and deleting recordings lawfully.
5a. Text messages for the demo call
When you ask to hear PAuL from the home page, Teach Aloud (DiddiaSix LLC) sends one text message with a verification code to the mobile number you give, and once you enter the code PAuL places one automated phone call to that number of about two minutes. That is the whole program: one text and one call per request, no recurring messages. Message and data rates may apply. The number must be yours and able to receive texts. Reply STOP to a text to opt out of any further texts; reply HELP for help, or email kkmoore304@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See the privacy policy for how the number is handled.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- call people who have not agreed to be called, or call any number in order to harass, deceive or defraud;
- upload material you have no right to use, or that is unlawful;
- teach or generate content that is unlawful, or that demeans people on the basis of race, religion, sex, gender, nationality, disability, age or appearance;
- probe, overload or interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing service;
- share one account among several people beyond what your plan allows.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
7. AI output
PAuL is an AI. What it says is generated from your material and a language model, and it can be wrong. Do not rely on a class, an answer or a transcript as the only record of anything important, and check anything that matters — a number, a policy, a procedure — against the source.
8. Your data
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. Deleting a class removes the material, the course written from it, the slides and any recordings. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you upload.
9. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a call will connect, that a recording will be captured completely, or that anything PAuL says will be accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or recordings, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only to the extent permitted.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any reason. Sections 4 to 12 survive termination.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; we will post the new version here and, for material changes, tell you by email before they apply.
